Hamilton Island is a stunning tropical paradise in the Whitsundays, the island has its own airport with direct flights from Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne making it a very easy destination for families. Hamilton Island is the only island with a variety of hotels and apartments to suit all tastes and budgets as well as an endless array of activities.

Our family of 5 package includes accommodation at the beautifully located Whitsunday Apartments, Hamilton Island. These apartments offer large well appointed one bedroom apartments, located on the resort side of Hamilton Island just across the road from Catseye Beach. The form of transport on Hamilton Island is golf buggy, so you dont need to worry about traffic in this holiday paradise. These apartments have a large bedroom with ensuite and a day bed in there for the 5th child. The first two children sleep in the lounge on the large lounge that converts to two single beds. There are beautiful balconies with lovely breezes and views, if you are lucky the cockatoos will visit too!

One of my favourite things about Hamilton Island is the absolute ease of getting there. Hamilton Island has its own airport with flights coming in from Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane daily. Within minutes of landing you’ll be collecting your luggage and on the free transfer to your room. So incredibly easy especially when you have kids in tow!

The island has a kids club, a fully equipt gym with equipment and classes plus all the watersports you can wish for (charges apply)

Take a day trip there are plenty on offer, laze on the whitest sand in the world on Whitehaven Beach, dive or snorkel and feast your eyes on the most exotic marine life in the azure waters of the Great Barrier Reef or join a fishing charter and catch a big one.

The island also offers mini golf, an arcade games room, go kart track, shooting range, golf course, and golf driving range.. you wont be bored here there is loads to offer.
