The United Kingdom is a destination unlike many others. Consisting of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland & Wales. It is diverse with plenty to see and do.

The most popular destination for families in UK is London. London has something for everyone with culture, amazing architecture, history, great food, attractions for young and old, parks, markets, theatre, pubs and more plus its easy to navigate on public transport or on foot. Families will love seeing Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park, the London Eye, The Tower Bridge, feeling like you are in a Monopoly board game when looking at street names and the iconic red double decker buses. Hop on Hop off sightseeing buses are a perfect way to explore the city and attractions passes are available making touring more affordable for families.

The United Kingdom has a temperate climate, with plentiful rainfall all year round. The temperature varies with the seasons seldom dropping below ?11 °C or rising above 35 °C. Located in the Northern Hemisphere their seasons are opposite to ours in Australia so they have their summer in June July August when we have our winter.

Summers are warmest in the south-east of England, being closest to the European mainland, and coolest in the north. Heavy snowfall can occur in winter and early spring on high ground, and occasionally settles to great depth away from the hills.
